Open in order to...

The theme for 2017's International Open Access Week is "Open in order to..." 

We love this theme because it reinforces the idea that Open is not the end goal. We do open in order to enable something else, whether that is reproducibility of research, reaching broader audiences around the world, or increasing the impact of our work. 

Our events this year fill in the blank in several ways. Join us for one or more of the events and do Open in order to:

• Increase your audience and the impact of your work.
• Enable global participation in research. 
• Use data to better understand and improve life.
• Connect with the history of our city.
